The DLC also bundles five new multiplayer characters, new weapon skins, and, obviously, a bunch of new Achievements totally 250 Gamerscore. The immulsion cleaver, for example, blows up on impact and does bonus burn damage to surrounding enemies, in addition to its regular cleaver damage. The maps will also include four new special, hidden weapons in the nasty shape of “elemental cleavers”. The Forces of Nature map pack, scheduled to get gibby on 27 March, features five maps for Versus, Horde, and Beast modes – the brand new Aftermath, Artillery, and Cove, as well as the rejiggered Gears 1 and 2’s Raven Down and Jacinto – all with a natural disaster theme. I’ve been checking the official Gears of War 3 forum every day now for about two weeks, and this morning that hard work finally paid off – sometime in the night, the next DLC add-on was announced, and I was totally among the first several million or so to know about it.
